Description
In our Western culture, sweet foods can sometimes overwhelm our bodies systems, most notably our spleens. One of our tricks is to combine Qi herbs with sweet foods to help support the spleen. This combo is a winning one and we love it as an arvo pick me up.

- LONDON FOG TEA:
- Earl grey tea (loose, or a tea bag)
- 1/4 - 1/2 tsp QI blend
- Plant milk (try coconut, almond or oat)
- RAW QI CHOCCIES:
- Macadamia Nut Butter:
- 1 cup macadamia nut butter (buy or make by grinding 1 cup macadamia nuts in a food processor)
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbs QI blend
- 2 tbs maple syrup
- Pinch fine sea salt
- Chocolate:
- 5 tbs cacao butter
- 7 tbs cacao powder
- 1/2 tsp ground vanilla beans
- 2 tbs maple syrup

Stir vanilla extract, QI blend, maple syrup and salt into the nut butterStep 4
Chocolate:Step 5
In a glass bowl over a pot of hot water melt the cacao butter, maple syrup and ground vanilla, stir in cacao powder and mix until all combined - don’t overheat!Step 6
As soon as the mix is MOSTLY melted remove from heat and keep stirring until it’s all smooth. If you have a thermometer, keep the mix around 50 degrees C.Step 7
Using a silicone mould, pour a small amount of the chocolate on the bottom of the mould and freeze for about 10 minutes.Step 8
Remove from freezer. Dollop about a teaspoon of nut butter mixture on top of each chocolate mould.Step 9
Cover with the remaining chocolate and freeze or refrigerate before serving (sprinkle with some extra sea salt flakes for a yummy contrast or a powdering of cacao).Step 10
