The SuperFeast Poria farm in is Yunnan Province, surrounded by wild pine forest. Responsible farming practices at their best, this poria farm has longevity in mind. Yannun Province is especially strict with their harvesting practices, which is where the best poria is grown in the world. In fact the government fly over and do routine physical visits to check this.
Mr Zhang is the SuperFeast Poria farmer, with more than 20 years experience. In the below video, Mason (founder of SuperFeast) shows you the huge poria mushie he has just harvested and how they grow in our micro-farm off Duanwood pine.
As you can see in the video, poria medicinal mushroom is not a beautiful looking mushie (like, say, lion's mane or tremella) but it has long been a very well respected and loved herb, for thousands of years.
Poria is a charm for helping your body regulate its water levels and can help clear damp in the body - super useful for edema. Like all the medicinal mushies, poria packs a gorgeous immune boosting punch and is loaded with beautiful chemical components to support a robust and healthy gut. Also used traditionally to strengthen the spleen and stomach, poria can also help ease joint pain and is anti-bacterial. Poria is a gorgeous Qi tonic and guys, it's going to help your digestion, that's why we had to include this mushie in our Mason's Mushroom blend. Poria is also a specialist at regulating water retention, like edema.
We love our SuperFeast Poria in the Ultimate Mushie Hot Choccie, give it a go! If you want to read more about poria, check out our article on The 8 Most Powerful Medicinal Mushrooms You Need To Know About.
