For most of us, a lifestyle involving long days working or studying, high levels of stress, poor sleep habits, less than optimal nutrition and too much time indoors and out of our natural rhythms will leave us depleted, feeling tapped out and exhausted.
The SuperFeast JING blend remains our primary formula of Taoist herbs for our community seeking to replenish the essence of their body and build back their foundational energy. JING is the starting place in tonic herbalism to rebuild and step towards ceasing any premature ageing that has set in, by restoring the core Jing that feeds our bodies.
What is Jing Essence?
Jing is the primordial energy that you are born with that resides within your Kidneys, it is the precursor to Qi and the key to a healthy, happy life lived aligned with our heart’s purpose. Jing is our primary essence, we are born with a certain amount and use it throughout our lives.
The amount of Jing energy you are born with and are able to maintain through life indicates:
- The span of your life
- Your ability to heal and recover
- Whether you can sustain yourself daily without needing to reach for stimulants like coffee as a substitute for energy.
When one’s lifestyle is not excessive and is maintained at a sustainable pace with strong health foundations cultivated, then Jing is not leaked and can remain robust.
However, if the candle is being burnt at both ends, then Jing will be leaked as exhaustion sets in and we become burnt out.
The benefits of cultivating your Jing Essence
- Replenish adrenal function
- Cultivate core energy
- Reduce dependency on caffeine for energy
- Support hormonal health
- Strengthen the body
- Move from ‘fight or flight’ into ‘rest and digest’
- Rebuild core energy after child birth
- Support a more grounded and centred self
- Enhance libido and sexual vigour
- Reduce stress and anxiety
- Improve sleep cycle
The way we live, the intentions we have, the practices we do or don’t do and the herbs we take, can impact how quick we leak and burn through our Jing, or how slowly and sustainably we use our Jing. Appropriate use of our Jing means ending our lives with our essence intact and being free from excessive degeneration. This is because the Jing essence that is stored in our Kidneys dictates our ability to heal internally, break through pathogenic and sediment-based blockages throughout bodily systems, express our genes throughout our lives as healthily as possible and maintain a robust sexual vigour. When we live a life that leaks our Jing, we begin to sacrifice these attributes of health that are generally possible for all of us.
By now many of you know that we absolutely love tasting our tonic herbs. Experiencing the flavour profile of the herbs we work with allows us to connect deeply with the healing qualities the herb has to offer. The sensory and nutritive information the body can access via the sensation of taste is a wild and magical process. Although the longer we share these tonic herbs with the world around us, the more we understand that:
- Not everyone loves tasting them
- Some people just prefer the convenience of a capsule
These are both pretty fair points, and at the end of the day, we just want to make sure you are experiencing the amazing benefits this special mushroom has to offer!

All packed up in the same sexy Miron glass you know and love, to preserve the quality and potency of our Dì Dào herbs.
Our SuperFeast JING capsules contain a small percentage of bamboo extract (Phyllostachys nigra, 15mg per capsule).
During the creation process of incorporating capsules into our range, we discovered that it's somewhat impossible to formulate a capsule product without using an excipient.
The good news is we only use excipients that work in harmony with the body, those that do not/will not cause harm to health or wellbeing. We also only ever use the tiniest amount required, to ensure the final product is always of the highest integrity and potency. It's the SuperFeast way!
All herbs in this formula are sourced Dì Dào (地道) from herb-producing regions of China.
Caution is used with diarrhea due to Spleen deficiency. QI formula in combination with JING can support the health of the Spleen.
