Tell us a bit about your journey in the world thus far? Who are you, what drives you, what are you proud of having accomplished?
I’m Amanda, a mother of 4 boys, naturopath and co-founder of Church Farm, which is our family business. What drives me is my goal of raising healthy, robust kids who can take on the world, take care of their own health, and are kind to others.Â
I am proud, but mostly just grateful.Â
Â
How have you found incorporating our herbs into your daily ritual has altered your reality?Â
My favourite way to Superfeast at the moment is to make an afternoon pick me up with Jing, some Dandelion root and a squeeze of lemon. I take a mug out to the garden and pick greens for dinner. Jing has been part of my postnatal regime this time around, and I am feeling good for it. Immunity has also been a recent focus, so we’ve been popping some mushroom caps and having some astragalus on the regular too.Â
Â
What brings you back to yourself and reconnects you with Nature?
Silence, surfing and hanging out in the garden.Â
What are you excited for for the future? What inspires you?
I’m inspired by the local community, the way people have come together in this area over the last 18 months. It’s a wild world out there, but it feels good to live here. I’m excited for dinner.Â
Â
What are you doing, small or large, in your daily life to help cultivate sovereignty of mind/body/spirit for yourself, your community and/or the planet?Â
If you want to change the world, change yourself right? I need to meditate more. Off to do that now.Â
x Amanda.
