Description

A unique Taoist formula to restore core energy reserves, relieve fatigue, and help the body adapt to stress, JING combines 6 foundational energy essentials for a vital, connected life.

Each ingredient is a traditional Chinese herb renowned for its adaptogenic and anti-inflammatory properties: Cordyceps, Eucommia bark, Goji berry, Cistanche stem, Rehmannia root and Asparagus root.

Working in synergy, these herbs and mushrooms are traditionally used to enhance energy levels, support adrenal function, promote endurance and stamina, bolster immunity, and act as an aphrodisiac to improve libido.

In Taoist philosophy, your ‘Jing’ is a primary foundational energy that governs your vitality, drive, and longevity. It’s one of the Three Taoist Treasures, and where our JING blend gets its name.

When your Jing is strong and stocked, your body is resilient, your libido is alive, your motivation flows, and you feel connected and present. When your Jing is depleted, you can experience fatigue, burnout, hormonal imbalance, and feel out of step with the rhythms of life.

Jing levels are highly dependent on the individual, and take varying lengths of time to rebuild, which is why our JING blend is felt immediately by some, and gradually by others. For any herbal routine to become a practice, consistency is key.

If you need a new, natural, and dependable way of fuelling your body, mind, and spirit, look to the energetic symphony in JING.

FAQs

JING is a Taoist tonic formula made from six adaptogenic herbs, traditionally used to restore Kidney Jing - the foundational essence that governs vitality, libido, and resilience in Chinese medicine. It’s designed to relieve fatigue, support stamina, and help the body adapt to physical, emotional, and environmental stress. JING is used by modern herbalists to support adrenal function, long-term energy, and sexual vitality.
Yes. JING contains powerful adaptogenic herbs like Cordyceps, Cistanche, and Rehmannia, traditionally used to restore adrenal reserves and rebuild energy after periods of burning out or overwork. These herbs help regulate the body’s stress response, support nervous system resilience, and may assist in returning to a state of clarity, calm, and motivation after long-term depletion.
Absolutely. While traditionally associated with Yang tonics, JING also includes Yin-nourishing herbs like Rehmannia and Goji Berry, making it effective for all genders. It supports reproductive vitality, libido, and core energy, particularly during times of hormonal fluctuation, postpartum recovery, or perimenopause.
Some people report noticeable improvements in energy and emotional balance within the first 1 to 2 weeks of use. However, like all tonic herbs, JING works cumulatively. Long-term, consistent use helps rebuild Kidney Jing, enhance stress resilience, and restore libido and vitality from within.
Yes. Many people use JING as a natural, adaptogen-based alternative to caffeine. While it doesn’t offer a quick jolt, it builds real, lasting energy by supporting the Kidney-adrenal system, helping you feel more stable and energised throughout the day. Over time, this helps reduce reliance on stimulants and supports smoother energy regulation and mental clarity without the crash.
Each herb in JING is Dì Dào (地道) sourced from its native growing region, in alignment with Taoist sourcing principles. This ensures optimal potency, bioavailability, and energetic integrity. We use full-spectrum extraction to retain the complete matrix of active compounds, instead of isolating or standardising individual markers. The result is a deeply therapeutic formula that honours both tradition and modern efficacy.
Yes. JING is a foundational formula that works well alongside other products. Combine it with QI to support the Spleen and digestive function, or with Lion’s Mane or Neural Nectar for added cognitive support. JING also pairs well with Ashwagandha Capsules or Reishi during periods of stress, burning out, or low libido.
Caution is advised for those with loose stools or digestive weakness, particularly related to Spleen Qi deficiency. In these cases, JING may be paired with a QI formula for better digestive support. Avoid taking during acute illness, and discontinue at least 2 weeks before surgery. Always consult your TCM practitioner or healthcare provider if you’re unsure.

A life changing supplement for me…

"I have a form of Primary Mitochondrial Disease that is a genetic mutation. I am on a host of supplements like aminos of all sorts - supporting cellular energy. A student of TCM, a lifelong herb, food therapy and tonic lover, and under the direction of my TCM doctor - this has been the probably single most effective thing I have added in my time with the onset and continuation of this disease/my new way of life (well aside from acupuncture). Jing essence is my body is already very limited… but this is for everyone… anything we can to do support that is worth it. Tears as I type - my world is changing a tiny 1/2 teaspoon at a time. Making a latte with a bit of ghee, Jing powder, Greenmax black sesame drink (no sugar added) and collagen every morning. Even got myself a special mug for my little ritual 🖤"

Helena (5/5)

Nothing has given me the result like JING has!

"A pleasing sweet taste, that helps eases out my energy crashes living with chronic fatigue and need a pick me up. I was introduced to JING by my acupuncturist, and after on it for a month, I don't think I can live without this. I have tried many supplements, diets and superfood over the years, and nothing has given me the result like JING has! I put a small jar with me everywhere I go."

JC (5/5)

Feeling Great

"I Have been on Jing now for a month and totally feel wonderful. I will be staying on this for ever"

kerrie (5/5)

Better than coffee

"My morning starts when I take Jing. I feel alive and it also helped me cut coffee consumption to one cup a day, energy stays all day."

Jules (5/5)

"I just love it its my go to drink every day"

Maryann (5/5)

Helped me with fatigue and burn out

"My work can be quite physical but a little Jing at break time gives me the power to get up and go. I have also had Tick Typhus and Jing helped in recovery to fight fatigue and malaise; at the time it felt like it was helping to flush out the Tick toxins. The taste is great too. Helps with autistic burn out too (doesn't cure it but it helps)."

Eli G. (5/5)

Highly recommend

"Jing has honestly breathed life back into me. Worn thin and burnout, started taking this and immediately felt the difference. Instant internal calm and built my energy back up right away."

Kelsey (5/5)

Im Noticing the Difference

"I primarily use the immune and gut health which has kept me more regular bowel movements and i haven't had a cold or flu since using this product. The Jing stress and fatigue product can make feel so weary but mindful. I choose to only drink it when I know I have time off work."

Gregory H. (5/5)

Grounding and Sharp

"I’ve been using the Jing + Mason’s mushroom blend for months now and really enjoy it as part of my daily routine. Some days it'll replace my coffee and I still feel sharp, attuned and focused. Anything that can rival the effect of coffee is a good sign it’s doing something right. It feels more like a balanced, steady kind of focus rather than the quick spike I get from caffeine."

Q&A

Why do you no longer have 1kg msm?
Hey Jennifer, Unfortunately we have discontinued the 1kg bags as they weren't that popular. We still have the 160g jars and the 400g bags available. x
Hi I'm wondering if the masons mushrooms or any other blend would break a fast if doing intermittent fasting?
Hey Liz! Generally, the herbs won't affect your fast. However, as each body is unique, we cannot confirm whether consuming the herbs will lift your body out of a fasting state. Fasting is a very intricate bodily process, and there are always many factors at play. If you are worried, best to err on the side of caution and cease taking your herbs whilst fasting. x
I’ve read claims that some “adatogens” like cistanche, which you use, are endangered. Should I be concerned about contributing to overharvesting by buying from your brand?
Hey Charles, thanks for reaching out and that's a very valid question. The health of the land is the top priority as this is what produces healthy herbs. We source all of the herbs as sustainably as possible, and we also routinely remove herbs from the range if it looks like they will no longer be able to be sustainably sourced. We only work with small independent farmers, who a lot of the time have had the farms in their family lineage for generations. We are not interested in working with large corporations. Our founder Mason is currently visiting some of our farms, so if you check out our social media you will be able to see this in action :) x
Hi Is Jing safe while breastfeeding. I also have hashimotos and Rheumatoid arthritis and I am taking a biologic medication and thyroxine. Is it safe to take Jing and masons mushrooms with these conditions? Thanks
Hi lovely, the advice we can offer here at Superfeast is only general advice, and we can't speak to specific conditions as there are way too many variables to consider as I am sure you can understand, While we can't offer advice to treat or cure, we may be able to help alleviate some general symptoms you're experiencing and support you that way. Please contact our specialised customer service team via team@superfeast.com.au x
Hi there, love the Masons Mushrooms and Jing together. Recently I added Cordyceps to the mix but it seemed to give me less energy and aggravated some dyspepsia I'm prone to. I'm now considering swapping the Coryceps for Schisandra. Would you recommend this or is it more potent sticking to just MM + Jing? Thanks!
Hey SJ Thanks for sharing with us. It depends on your health intention and why you are using the herbs as to which is the best combination. If you wanted to share more I will be able to guide you :) Mason's and JING are an amazing combo to cover all your foundational aspects of health! x Sam
Hello! I have two questions. 1) How does your math function to show the number of servings if what is suggested is 0.9 g in 250ml. I mean, shouldn't then it be 111 servings in 100g? 2) Is there any difference in taking this as powder as in capsules ? Thank you! Hope you are having a wonderful day 🌞🍯✨
Hi Gabriela Great questions! The 900mg dosage of JING is a milligrams dosage, which equates to about 2.7g of powder or roughly 1tsp. Based on this 1tsp dosage there are roughly 38 servings of JING in the 100g jar. There is no difference between the JING powder and the JING capsules other than the capsule product being in a capsule! So long as you have enough digestive fire to digest the capsule there is no difference in availability of the herbs. x Sam
Can I use the Jing blend During the last month of pregnancy?
We don't recommend JING whilst pregnant, it is great for preconception and postpartum though! During pregnancy we recommend Reishi and Eucommia Bark x Sam
HI there, The Jing blend makes me so relaxed I am almost tired and need a sleep. I have just started taking it so could this be because I am actually exhausted and its making me relax??? I have had to take it late arvo . Thanks Onika
Hey Onika :) Thanks for reaching out and sharing with us. Often when we start taking new herbs they can reveal what is present in our bodies, so if your adrenals and kidneys are quite tapped out and there is exhaustion present, sometimes the herbs bring this to the surface and we feel it more. Over time though this blend will work to nourish and restore your foundational energy and essence and promote vitality through your whole body. You can work through this period by lowering the dose until the fatigue begins to clear and slowly building your dose back up again. If you feel sovereign in your health, you can continue your original dose and work through it this way as well. If you have any other questions please feel free to email us at team@superfeast.com.au and we will be able to support you further :) x SF Team
Hi, can you mix herbs, eg Schisandra, Qi and Jing? Thanks, Lizzie
Hey Elizabeth, It is completely fine to combine the herbs together into your own blend. The herbs work in synergy with one another and were traditionally formulated to carry a certain intention and energetic within the body. However, some people can find certain flavour combinations more complementary than others, for instance, Schisandra, Beauty Blend and MSM can be more palatable when taken on their own. We also really love working with the tonic herbs individually, as this gives us the space to cultivate an accurate awareness of how their medicine is unfolding within our systems. You may also like to experiment with this. We love making a ritual out of our tonic time, taking pause to really align with our intentions around choosing to work with a particular herb. As always we're here to help so please let us know if you have any further questions, x Mark
Hi, I have very low iron. My Doctor suggested I take an iron tablet daily for 3 months then get re tested. I could only tolerate them for 1 month. Would any of your products help with this? Thanks.
Hey Melissa, Thank you for reaching out. Our herbs will not directly increase your iron levels in comparison to an iron rich diet or synthetic iron supplementation. We work within the system of Daoist tonic herbalism, this is an ancient system in which the concept of 'iron' did not exist. The Daoists used herbs and lifestyle practices to potentiate the body, mind and spirit to create a level of health where sickness was unlikely to occur. In the context of Blood health, the Daoists used herbs such as Reishi and those present in our I Am Gaia blend to help build and move Blood via their action on the Liver, the organ responsible for building and filtering the body's Blood. From this perspective we cannot make comments on iron, rather we can suggest herbs that will help nourish your Blood in general. In this regard our I Am Gaia and Reishi are wonderful choices for support. Wishing you much love from the SuperFeast team x
