Founder, SuperFeast

Mason Taylor started SuperFeast in 2011 out of his mum's garage. While doing a Bachelor of Commerce, he threw himself into medicinal mushrooms and Taoist herbalism, and that became the foundation of the business. His first product was Mason's Mushrooms, a blend of eight mushrooms.

He has studied herbalism around the world, walking in the footsteps of the herbalists who teach herbalism to the people and keep them out of the clinic.

Mason built SuperFeast around Di Dao sourcing. That means buying each herb from the region and growers that tradition says produce it best, and working directly with farmers in China. He also developed the boat model SuperFeast uses to explain the classical Three Treasures of Jing, Qi and Shen.

He started The Mason Taylor Show podcast in 2015 and the SuperFeast Podcast in 2019, talking with practitioners, researchers and growers about tonic herbalism, longevity and living in rhythm with the seasons. He also teaches business to soul-driven founders at masonjtaylor.com.

SuperFeast is still family owned. Mason runs it with his wife, Tahnee, and lives in the Northern Rivers with their three children.
