Description

Steady energy and strong digestion, without the caffeine. QI is the blend for that mid-afternoon slump and the heavy feeling after a meal. Seven Taoist herbs and mushrooms in one jar, stirred into a warm drink, and caffeine free.

The Taoists linked strong digestion with steady energy. In Chinese medicine, digestion is governed by Spleen Qi, your "digestive fire", and the herbs in QI are traditionally used to tonify Spleen Qi, support digestion and keep energy circulating through the day. Qi is the second of the Three Treasures: if Jing is the wax of your candle, Qi is the bright flame.

What's inside

  • Astragalus root: the classic Qi tonic, traditionally used to support energy and immune health.
  • Codonopsis root: a gentle Qi tonic, traditionally used to support digestion and energy.
  • White Atractylodes root: traditionally used to strengthen the Spleen and support digestion.
  • Poria: traditionally used in Chinese medicine to support digestion.
  • Turkey Tail: traditionally used to support immune health.
  • Jujube: the sweet red date, traditionally used to nourish Qi and Blood and settle the spirit.
  • Gynostemma: known in China as the "immortality herb", traditionally used to support energy and vitality.

Why ours is different

Sourced Di Dao. Each herb comes from its traditional growing region, from Astragalus in Gansu and Inner Mongolia to Turkey Tail from the Changbai Mountains.

Concentrated extracts. Every herb is extracted, so a small serve does the work of a big pot of simmered roots.

Nothing added. No fillers, sweeteners or caffeine.

Tested. Manufactured and tested in licensed Australian facilities for heavy metals, pesticides, moulds and microbes.

How to take it

Adults, mix 1.5g in 250ml warm water and drink, up to three times a day. Always read the label. It's lovely after lunch in warm water or plant milk. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, we recommend working with your practitioner.

FAQs

QI Blend brings together Taoist herbs used to support circulating energy, digestive strength, and vitality. It helps tonify Spleen Qi and Lung Qi, two key organ systems in Taoist herbalism that govern the transformation of food into usable energy and its movement throughout the body. This blend is taken to help reduce bloating, improve digestive function, and build daily energy across all stages of life. By supporting these organ systems, QI helps cultivate the capacity to move through life with fluidity and purpose.
Yes. QI brings together herbs traditionally used in Chinese medicine to strengthen the Spleen and keep Stomach Qi moving smoothly. That matters when digestion feels slow, heavy after meals or sluggish. By supporting the digestive system at its root, QI helps bring back a feeling of lightness and steady digestive energy through the day.
Yes. QI is designed to support the body's own capacity to make and move energy through the day. By strengthening Spleen Qi and Lung Qi, the blend supports the kind of energy that shows up as mental clarity, physical strength and daily endurance. It builds energy from within rather than giving a short-lived lift, so it is a favourite for people who feel run down after a big stretch and want steady, caffeine-free energy for the long term.
Yes. Astragalus and Codonopsis, two of the herbs in QI, are traditionally used in Chinese medicine to support healthy immune function and strengthen the body's protective Qi, known as Wei Qi. By supporting digestion and energy at the same time, QI builds the system up from within. Many people lean on it through seasonal changes and busy, depleting times.
In Taoist herbalism, QI Blend primarily supports the Spleen and Lung organ systems, which together manage digestion, respiration, and the movement of Qi throughout the body. These systems form the core of upright energy โ€“ helping to lift, transport, and nourish the entire system. The formula also indirectly supports the Heart and Liver. The Heart governs the circulation of Qi and blood, while the Liver is associated with flow and flexibility. QI works harmoniously through all four systems to encourage daily vitality, digestive strength, and emotional clarity.
Yes. QI is non-stimulating and can be taken in the morning, evening, or both. Morning use helps enhance circulating energy, support digestion, and build grounded momentum for the day. Evening use is great for digestive recovery or to support the body during fatigue cycles. Because QI works by tonifying foundational energy systems, consistency matters more than timing. Many users find their own ideal rhythm โ€“ such as adding QI to morning tea, post-lunch tonics, or after-dinner broths.
Some people notice improvements in digestion, bloating, or afternoon energy dips within the first few days. For deeper energetic support โ€“ such as rebuilding Qi after ongoing fatigue or digestive depletion, effects typically accumulate over a period of consistent use. As a tonic blend, QI is not predominately designed for quick bursts, but for long-term replenishment. Daily use allows the herbs to build energetic momentum, support organ systems, and nourish the bodyโ€™s capacity for sustained vitality.
Yes. QI is made from Dรฌ Dร o (ๅœฐ้“) sourced, dual-extracted tonic herbs โ€“ all carefully selected for long-term use. It contains no fillers, stimulants, or harsh ingredients. Itโ€™s designed for daily integration into your health ritual. As always, if youโ€™re pregnant, breastfeeding, or on medication, check with your healthcare provider. But for most people and in most cases, QI can be taken year-round as part of a lifestyle that prioritises core energy, digestive strength, and immune resilience.

Gently transformative

"I’m a super feast fan and love many products but Qi was my first introduction. It’s hard to explain the effects except to say it makes me feel lighter and brighter. Life feels easier with Qi as part of my daily routine (I have a small cup around mid morning). It’s also delicious/ it tastes like lying under a tree on a summers day feels."

A dear friend to my digestion and chronic burnout

"I started taking Qi, Jing, I am Gaia, and tremella 3 weeks ago and I am stunned at the results. I’ve struggled with chronic illness and injury for a few years and have been significantly drained from it. Starting slow and upping my dose to 1 tsp a day, I have completely, changed my digestion, my energy levels are off the charts, even without drinking any caffeine, and I’ve been able to start seeing progress healing a stubborn back injury! I adore all the blends and they each have such potency, but I gotta give my love to Qi for being the one my body buzzed and sang to from the very first cup. All the love for bringing this beautiful blend to the world."

— Amy H. (5/5)

Part of my daily routine

"I have been taking Qi as part of my daily routine for over a year and, along with the other 2 in the 3 Treasurers, genuinely feel better for it - I love how it adds to my day - the taste, experience and the benefits."

Love this tonic

"Qi leaves me feeling I like I am resourced from the inside out"
